The Van De Velde Consulting Group has a unique approach to the provision of remuneration services that stand us aside from our competitors. Most remuneration service providers simply offer administrative or payment services to employer groups for their employees. The absence of comprehensive education, advice and effective package construction has resulted in very low participation rates amongst the various employer groups.
Maintaining the quality of your remuneration packaging systems is crucial to its success. The Van De Velde process is specialised approach where we offer our consulting services at the corporate level to ensure company management have a full understanding of the benefit to the organisation of packaging. Once this is done we deliver the message across your organisation thus ensuring the maximum participation by employees.
By managing the entire packaging process we can maintain the quality of our advice to both employer and employee and ensure the integrity of the payment information forwarded to the Bureau for payments.
Education
Van De Velde Consulting will then conduct a series of in-house presentations to employees to explain the benefits of packaging. We believe comprehensive yet easy to understand presentations are an integral and essential component of the overall packaging process.
These presentations will:
- Be held at times convenient to employees;
- Be open to spouses.
In our experience, it is the knowledge gained through these presentations together with the advice given that increases the rate of take-up of packaging by employees.
Presentations will continue to be offered as employee numbers increase. There will also be ad hoc presentations for new employees and if there are any significant changes to FBT Legislation.
Consultation
As stated previously, education and advice is the cornerstone of the Van De Velde philosophy. We also believe that the necessary ingredient for the efficient operation of the bureau administration is contained in clear, concise and accurate paperwork.
To ensure the integrity of this process, we will place teams of Packaging Consultants in your offices offering 'one-on-one' consultations with employees and their spouses.
The consultations take approximately 1 hour during which:
- A financial and lifestyle needs analysis will be carried out with the client;
- Identification of the benefits to be taken up by the employee;
- All application and payment forms are completed and signed;
- The client also receives a full generated summary of their completed package detailing all tax benefits and importantly, the impact on your take home salary;
- The Bureau then processes this information.
Bureau Administration
Van De Velde Consulting offers a complete outsourced packaging solution specifically designed to ensure quality and not to generate additional work for employers. This being the case we have sought out the most efficient, state of the art administration and payments system available:
- We will Implement a project plan for the integration of the Bureau into your payroll process and seamlessly convert all existing packaging arrangements from your existing provider to the VDV Bureau
- Able to fully integrate with your internal payroll and other systems, the Bureau is an efficient and cost effective outsourced solution for administering packaged benefits;
- The Bureau provides a full reporting and communication function for both Employers and Employees;
